Absolutely lovely cafe. The Thai curry was a unique take on the dish that was delicious. The chairs were so comfortable after walking all over the town and the ambiance, from the music to the artwork was blissful. Highly recommend to anyone out pottery shopping as a great place to stop and have a meal or snack.

It is a hideaway old folk house cafe on the pottery promenade. I loved the decor and atmosphere of the restaurant.

It is a very relaxing cafe in Tokoname's "Yakimono promenade". As the interior of the shop, a lot of old film cameras were also exhibited. Photo exhibitions are sometimes held here, making it an irresistible space for those who love photography. They also seem to be particular about their audio equipment, with Tannoy and KEF speakers and a LUXMAN vacuum tube amplifier. He usually plays background music on CDs, but sometimes he puts a lot of effort into listening to LPs. The specialty here is Thai curry. A very fragrant curry with just the right amount of spice. Cold ice cream came out for dessert. It was the perfect refreshment after a spicy Thai curry. Sugi Cafe is open from Friday to Monday. The opening days are few, but it is a shop worth going all the way.
