Anjo, Aichi, Japan｜Cafe Coda

Much nicer than I expected. Coda is a small, fashionable cafe near Anjo station, the interior decor is very well done, plants and creeping vines giving a relaxing atmosphere. Staff are friendly and attentive. There’s a good variety of teas and coffees, and some interesting cold drink combinations. They even do some decent food - I went for a small meat pie, which was better than I expected and not expensive at 400 yen. Definitely worth a look if you’re in the area and feel like chilling for a bit.

This small cafe is a treasure of Anjo. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy. The menu contains many reasonably priced drinks ranging from coffee to juice. The coffee is smooth and strong with great taste. This cafe’s food speciality is curry that you can eat in a variety of dishes. The owner/staff went out of their way to serve me and my wife. Even going as far to divide the food we were eating into separate dishes. This cafe is a great experience to be had if you’re ever in the area.
