This coffee room is located about a 1-minute walk from Kagoda Park and is owned by Ichiryudo, a hand-baked rice cracker that has been making rice crackers for over 60 years. This is a shop where you can enjoy rice crackers and sweets along with carefully selected hand-drip coffee. The interior of the shop has a calm and stylish atmosphere, and you can enjoy a wonderful cafe time while listening to background music selected by the master. This time I tried the shaved ice that is only available in the summer. We have a lineup of various types of shaved ice made with rare and high-quality natural ice from Yatsugatake, and made with carefully selected ingredients. On this day, I ordered ``Miyazakien Matcha Ice'' (850 yen), which is limited to 10 cups per day. Enjoy our homemade syrup that is perfect for shaved ice, made with a unique blend of the finest matcha "Rikyu" and "Mikawa" from the prestigious tea "Miyazakien" in the Nukata area. It is a masterpiece that is not too sweet and allows you to fully enjoy the flavor of tea. They seem to be particular about the way they shave the ice, and it's so smooth that it melts in seconds the moment you put it in your mouth! The toppings of azuki beans and milk (50 yen each) are also recommended as they go perfectly with matcha♪ I highly recommend Ichiryudo's shaved ice, which is only available in the summer!

The ice is so delicious! ! Since I'm an oyster gorger, I've eaten at many places, but if you love ice, this place is irresistible. In other words, with the shaved ice boom, many places are selling shaved ice, but many people are still left with the skinny ice. A fluffy shaved ice that melts in an instant and won't give you a headache. I received the hojicha milk, and the hojicha also has a really nice scent. I use salt to cleanse my palate, and since I like salt, this is also refreshing and delicious. The atmosphere of the shop was wonderful, and the owner and regular customers were friendly and spoke to me even though it was my first time visiting! I ordered a drink for takeout and it was very delicious. This is a store I would definitely like to visit again.

The shop was originally run as a hand-baked cracker shop, but as a cafe, there are many records behind the counter, a reading room on the 2nd floor, and shaved ice using natural ice in the summer is famous. If you order coffee in the morning, it comes with butter toast as a basic set, and you can add granola, Ogura toast, or yogurt if you like.
