I visited because it was recommended by a community FM personality in Toyohashi. This restaurant is located at the very back of Merchant Komaya, and we offer daily lunch specials. I've been here a few times, but the only other customers I see are elderly people, maybe because it's a weekday afternoon? The menu for this day was a stewed hamburger steak, and an after-drink was included for a reasonable 110 yen. Normally priced at 440 yen, you can also choose original rice juice or plum juice. The food arrived quickly, even though there was no one else waiting. It's a dish that feels carefully arranged. I wasn't expecting much since it was a meal at a public facility, but it was quite delicious! The salad is plentiful. The main dish, the hamburger steak, has the deliciousness of a home-cooked meal, with a soft and gentle taste and texture. People who think about this menu every day must be pretty good at cooking. I don't know how to describe it, it feels like they've made it as delicious as possible with the price of 880 yen and a limited budget. The food is on the small side for this area, but it's just right for a middle-aged man. Thank you for the meal! Looking at the lunch menus eaten by other people, there seem to be many healthy options. It's a good place to have a light lunch, and although it's posted at the entrance to Komaya, it's interesting that you don't know what the daily specials are until you go. By the way, if you show your admission ticket to the Futagawa-juku Honjin Museum, you'll get a 100 yen discount.If you go to the museum first, you can get lunch afterwards.

A café in an earthen storehouse from the Taisho period. Not only the exterior but also the inside of the store retains the vestiges of the storehouse. The daily lunch on this day is "Yurinchi". It was Chinese. The sauce is exquisite! The harmony of sesame oil, green onions, ginger, garlic and chili peppers is wonderful👍 As for the after drink to choose from, I chose coffee, which was also delicious☕️😋
