This is a great little cafe and they offer a nice morning set for red bean toast enjoyers, such as myself. The exterior is very aesthetic and looks great, I really enjoy the look of the place. Inside is pretty nice and comfortable, it has a somewhat dated feel but that's part of the charm as there's often older folk frequenting this place. If you're in the area then be sure to check this one out, it's very quiet and relaxing compared to some cafes.

I came here before the Toyota museum open, and tried the iconic Nagoya breakfast: coffee, boiled egg and “okura toast” (which means a toast with red bean sweet paste). I loved this vibe of a small coffee in an industrial city: all the clients looked like factory workers or businessmen. Despite the coffee shop is old fashioned smoking is not allowed (what I liked as well).

In the morning, I visited on foot from a business hotel in front of Nagoya Station. It was around 7:30, but there was only one customer. I ordered a morning set of Ogura toast. Since I am from outside the prefecture, I don't know what is normal in Nagoya, but I was surprised that the toast was larger than I expected. The bean paste and toast were soft and gentle, and the coffee was delicious. The store owner's positive smile was also very pleasant, and I thought I was able to come to a nice store with clean air. I would like to have breakfast here again when I come to Nagoya.
