Oharu, Aichi, Japan｜Mint House Oharu

On a weekday afternoon, I was nearby for work, so I had the daily lunch special at Mint House, a coffee shop along the Meinikan in Oji-cho. The main dish of the day was ankake spa with croquette as a topping. There are 3 patterns of pasta amount and garnish, and a large serving (100 yen) of the C set (800 yen) comes with 0.7 servings of pasta, toast, and salad. There was plenty of red bean paste and the bread was homemade so it was delicious (^-^) It's a very popular store, and customers keep coming in. There are also many parking spaces. However, smoking is allowed, so it may not be suitable for people who don't like cigarette smoke, so I gave the service 3 stars.

Lunch is a good deal. Ankake pasta is delicious and there are a lot of choices, but I love it with rice. (I'll have a large serving of noodles, too (charges apply)) Lunch is also available on Saturdays and Sundays, and you can add an additional 50 yen for an American meal after your meal. Daphne coffee is good.

This is a restaurant that I've come to often because people have recommended it to me. I wonder if Ankake Spa is popular? The red bean paste is mildly spicy and has a strong sour taste. Of course it is very delicious, More than that... double the amount of noodles for +200 yen! It's a coffee shop with good cost performance when you want to eat a hearty meal.
