Not a chic café. Not a fancy restaurant. Not a fashionable place. But this bakery attracts me to come back again and again. I absolutely love their mum made type fried chicken, so juicy and crispy. The price for a fried chicken set is unbeatable. The portion is small compared to American standard, but quite enough for a light lunch or afternoon tea. Don’t miss the desserts such as macaron and ice cream. All are freshly made with high quality ingredients. The ladies serving are cheerful and efficient. The place is a bit nostalgic but clean and pleasant. Only thing I could complain is that it closed too early. Two weeks ago, though it closed at 4:30pm, last order was 3:30pm. I missed it by 10 minutes!!! So I ended up buying a box of their dacquoise and no regrets, perfect with a cup of coffee.
