Funabashi, Chiba, Japan｜Vegan cafe Hanauta

Amazing food. I tried a classic vegan dish "soy meat fried chicken" and was one of best ever ate in my long vegan history. Juicy, soft, tasty and light. It was accompanied by a few side foods like fresh salad, seaweed, mashed potatoes, fried tofu. All delicious. As sweet I had a vegan tiramisù, best ever ate (same level of Mana Cafe in Okinawa). It was surrounded by mix berries, vegan cream, vegan ice cream. All delicious. Even coffee was mild and pleasant. Location is not favorable for those staying in Tokyo. This is a home restaurant, atmosphere is that of a old Japanese house and owner chef proudly prepare house style high level food. You can also take away some of their sweets and cookies. Price is also moderate. Wish more restaurant like this will be established in the future.

The woman who runs this cafe is extremely nice and makes all the food herself. The atmosphere is super quiet and peaceful. It's the perfect place to have lunch with a friend, and the food is amazing

A little hard to find, but well worth the trek cause the food is incredibly delicious! We had two of the lunch sets, a burger and a dish with karaage and croquette, and they were both great! Also had the strawberry parfait, generous portion with very sweet strawberries! The cakes and cookies were also really good! Will definitely go back
