Kashiwa, Chiba, Japan｜Chateau de Comal

I learned about its existence on a certain walking program and finally visited. On behalf of the castle lord, I was given an explanation of the inside of the building by a cute ambassador, and I was impressed by the interior. At the end, we had a peaceful time with delicious Cafe Rikyu (coffee) from the castle lord, Mr. Takamaru, and his wife. In particular, Mr. Takamaru's outlook on life... I was able to feel his way of life through the chateau and our conversations, and it influenced me in a positive way. Must visit again!

There is a wonderful castle in Kashiwa. It is a truly wonderful castle where you can really feel the commitment of the castle owner. It's quite far from Kashiwa Station, so I think you'll need to come by car. I was deeply moved by the world I had never seen before. I was surprised by the unusual name of the patented cafe Rikyu. It is served freshly made like matcha. It goes very well with steamed buns◎Cafe Mozart is a very cute Western-style coffee. Tastes similar to cocoa. This day was close to the Doll's Festival, so it was wonderful to see all the wonderful Hina dolls on display. It's a space where you can stay for hours, and I'm filled with the desire to repeat. The castle owner was also a really knowledgeable and wonderful person.

I am always impressed by the beauty of the building and the hospitality of the castle owner and his wife.
