More Comments at Google MapTemple cafe in Mutsuzawa town☕️ The name of the restaurant is “Sowaka”, which means to achieve something in Buddhism, so it has a very welcoming atmosphere. The inside of the café has the atmosphere of an ordinary private house, but there are two toilets and tatami mat seats, so it's safe to bring a baby! Chairs are also provided, so even those who have trouble with their legs can enjoy meals and tea with peace of mind. Perhaps there are many parishioners, but there are also many elderly customers, and when the seats are full, it seems that people in the main hall can also eat. For lunch, vegetarian curry and soba noodles are served, and vegetarians and vegans can enjoy meals without worry. Many of the books on display are related to Buddhism. In this way, you can feel free to come into contact with Buddhism. There is no background music like in a normal cafe, but you can listen to the birds singing and have a quiet time! The wife of the young chief priest serves customers, and it is a comfortable space with detailed consideration! You can relax while enjoying Sanskrit latte and omikuji cookie♪ It is quite a scenery that you can see the grave beyond the window (^ ^) A cute Jizo statue will welcome you!
Temple cafe... I thought it was a little formal, but... It's like having a feast at an acquaintance's house. The chief priest was friendly and talked about various things. In the backyard, there is a place where you can meditate with only stones ❕ If you mistake it for a pizza oven 😅 Shrine eight honey (soda) is delicious 💜 I couldn't help but take out the cheesecake 😁
Gyokumeizan Kougyoji Temple is located near the Mutsuzawa Town Hall. It is a temple cafe that runs quietly in an ancient temple of the Tendai sect, which is popularly known as "Chosei Fudoson". You can enjoy the vegetarian menu prepared by the chief priest and his wife in a quiet atmosphere. A happy production that comes with a drink with an omikuji! The Sanskrit latte, where you can choose your favorite Sanskrit character, seems to be a blessing. Events unique to the temple are also held, and you can experience copying sutras and Zen meditation. It is a healing cafe where you can spend a wonderful tea time while feeling the power of Fudo.
