Very good bakery and cafe on the middle of the countryside, close to the hotel and tennis courts area of Shirako. The baguette taste like in France, there is also pain de campagne, pain de seigle, boule and lots of breads with fillings like nuts and fruits. Prices are also very reasonable, 220 JPY for a baguette, it's 30% cheaper thank Tokyo.

I used it for takeout. I was impressed by the delicious breads! I want to go buy it again. The shop owner also served customers in a calm and courteous manner. thank you very much.

Although it is near the sea, it looks like you are in the forest. The parking lot was well laid out with broken tiles, and the complementary colors of orange and blue were lovely. When you enter the entrance, there are many picture books and delicious-looking take-out bread lined up, and further back is a cafe space. The restaurant has a high ceiling, a simple, well-appointed and clean atmosphere, and a small number of tables. Outside the window, there are plenty of greenery this season and a milt onion hanging in a red mesh bag. It looks like a page from a picture book because it looks vivid from the dark wooden window frame✨ I got confused from the many carefully prepared and delicious-looking menus, and I ended up choosing the beef tendon stew in red wine set with lots of seasonal onions (comes with bread and salad). It was very delicious, and I also ordered French toast and iced tea with the Satsuki name on it. I received plenty of it. There's no background music, the staff doesn't make any unnecessary noise (probably on purpose), and photography is prohibited inside the store, so you can enjoy the sounds of nature and the menu while taking your time and choosing. While I was waiting, I read the book I had brought with me. It was time to take a deep breath. On the way home, I took out the bread as a souvenir because it was delicious. (The folded part of the paper bag has the word thinkyou written on it, which is also a nice joke.) Some breads are baked for you if you make a reservation in advance. When I asked how to pronounce the store's name, I was told that it was pronounced "Pensée." When I looked up the meaning of the name later, I said, "I see," with a grin on my face. Thank you for the meal ✨🙏 Also recommended for vegetarians.
