I would like to deeply thank one of the waitresses at this cafe. I am a foreigner and it is here that I met the parents of my Japanese husband in 2020, just before Covid. The waitress was so nice, she took a photo for us, she congratulated me and we talked a little together thanks to my husband who translated. I returned to Café Madeleine a little later with a small gift brought back from Switzerland for this waitress, but I didn't find it. So if she ever reads this, I hope she knows that I thank her from the bottom of my heart. I was very stressed that day, but thanks to her I had a wonderful time. Personal experience aside, this cafe is really nice, quiet, and serves delicious cakes. I thank my mother-in-law for introducing me to this place!
