Choshi, Chiba, Japan｜待合室

Used this to kill time before catching the train home after a trip to Choshi. There are three tables and a counter, and the space is just right, and even though it's right in front of the station, it's very quiet and has a relaxing atmosphere where you can relax. It was a very hot day in Choshi, reaching nearly 33 degrees Celsius, so I ordered an iced cocoa that had more calories and phenols than caffeine, and cost ¥470. It may take some time to knead the cocoa properly, but the finished product is delicious and soaks into your feverish body! I was able to relax until the time for the express train and leave Choshi.

As of April 2023, cakes are closed. We do coffee jelly and toast. This is a coffee shop where you can relax and enjoy coffee and cake. Ganache chocolate cake has a smooth texture and just the right amount of sweetness. Orange Yogurt Cheese Pie is a popular cake available for a limited time only. The sourness of the orange and the sweetness of the yogurt mousse are very delicious. There is also a set of biscuits called chuile that come with coffee and drinks, and the crunchy texture and sweetness of tuile goes well with coffee. The cream soda has a beautiful pale green color and just the right amount of carbonation. There are irregular two-day holidays at the end of each month. This coffee shop is especially crowded from mid-morning to noon.

I stopped by because I wanted to sit down and take a break until the train was due, I wanted to drink something cold (30℃), I wanted to eat something, and I wanted to take a breather. Apparently all seats are smoking. A coffee shop in town. Thank you for the meal.
