Matsusaka, Mie, Japan｜Piece

Can't believe I haven't posted a review yet, but piece cafe is the best cafe in Matsusaka in my opinion!! Since my first visit here I've always felt comfortable and at home. The place is cosy, and I love just spending time here reading or chatting with new people. The bread is so delicious (my favourite is shio butter pan and negi miso)!!! Midori San, the owner, speaks perfect English, and hosts many events and exhibitions at the cafe. I think you can tell from my photos that I've been here many times ☺️ do visit if you're ever in Matsusaka!

We had a delicious lunch. There are three types of pizza flavors, and the toasted bread is also crunchy and fluffy. There is also a drink set and a dessert, which is a great deal! please. Lunch set 11:00-14:30 / 900 yen +Drink & dessert 400 yen

A cafe in a renovated storehouse. We also have bread and miscellaneous goods. The interior has a calm interior with wooden interior. I went during the day on a weekday, and there weren't many other customers considering the number of seats, so the atmosphere was very calm. Thinking of a light lunch, I ordered avocado (I think it's avocado and cheese sandwiched between salted bread) and American. The salted bread was delicious with mildly flavored ingredients. The coffee was fragrant and delicious, so I also ordered a coffee with shaved ice. It was a shaved ice that was not too sweet and you could enjoy the flavor of coffee. The grains that are spread apart are roasted coffee beans, and they have a nice aroma and texture, and you can really feel the coffee. The ice was shaved the way I liked it, so I wanted to try other shaved ice again. The menu with paper cutouts popping out was also very nice. In 2022, shaved ice is scheduled to be available until the end of September.
