Kuwana, Mie, Japan｜Hearts Cafe

I visited Hearts Cafe on a sunny morning in late November, when the autumn leaves were still deep. The purpose is morning. The inside of the shop is wooden and has the appearance of an old-fashioned coffee shop. The number of customers in the 9:00 range on weekday mornings is sparse. Jazz sounds in the store. They serve breakfast from 7:30 to 11:00, and the drink you order comes with buttered toast and a boiled egg. I thought about doing that too, but the words on the wall that read "Seasonal blackberry jam toast" just got me. By the way, you can get other snacks on the menu for 50 yen off as a "drink set <with boiled egg>". Everything from bread to jams to sauces is homemade. Even the juices and soda syrups are homemade. Who wouldn't be drawn to the one-of-a-kind word "homemade"? No! The bread is fluffy thick toast, and the jam is not too sweet and has a sour taste that is quite delicious! Sprinkle the eggs with Himalayan rock salt. The yolk is firm. If you are attracted to "homemade", please visit once. It's a pity that it's far from my house, but if it's in my neighborhood, I'll definitely go.

Lunch is also available on Saturdays. I thought this amount was conscientious at 970 yen. It was a little disappointing not to have an after-meal drink, but I was satisfied with the pre-meal drink first. There were smoking and non-smoking seats.

I had cheese omelet rice for lunch! It was a great value lunch that included bread gratin and soup. Recommended for Kuwana's sunny hills and the western area.
