Kuwana, Mie, Japan｜Hori Coffee Roatery

I had red yeast rice bread and homemade gratin. The menu seems to change every week, and today it had meatballs on it. It was piping hot all the way through and the cheese was melty and delicious.

I received a plate of matcha chiffon and coffee zenzai. The coffee jelly was mildly sweet and not overpowering, and the overall sweetness of the plate was well balanced. The matcha chiffon cake was fluffy.

I once visited the sweets factory when it just opened, but I've been curious about it ever since it was renovated. However, the business hours are until 6:30pm, so I couldn't come. Today is morning ☕🍞🌄. The inside of the restaurant is large, but the seats are spaced wide apart, so you can feel at ease. You can see the Hokusei Line from the window🚃. It's been a long time since I've been here. Breakfast on holidays is very crowded. Acrylic boards are installed at each seat. We also had Hori's famous classic waffle morning~🤣
