Iwakuni, Yamaguchi, Japan｜Kofudo

The coffee was served in beautiful handmade pottery. The cake presentation was gorgeous. It’s past lunch time so I didn’t try it but they have a vegan sandwich!

Relaxing cafe in a beautiful garden setting. While it was too early in the season to see their hydrangea garden, it is still peaceful to sit outside for a nice lunch. I had the ginger squash as a drink and a sausage and brie sandwich on crispy fresh French bread. Serve is polite. The location close to the Kintai Bridge and across from the Irises is great. There are always seasonal flowers in the neighborhood which gives visitors reasons to return to this cute little Cafe. There is also indoor seating but you will be required to remove your shoes to sit inside.

One of my favorite cafes in Iwakuni! The coffee is always good and so is the food! The curry is really delicious, but it is also really spicy. The thick cut ham sandwich is always good, and so is the French toast! In the summer I love getting shaved ice here. It’s so refreshing! The ladies who own and work here are also amazing.
