Komeda Iwakuni! I'm so glad it's finally here. If you're new here, go in the morning and order the Komeda Blend with Ogura toast morning set. For only ¥500! If you go during lunch, I highly recommend the Tonkatsu Sandwich. Damn delicious.... When you received the coffee, hold on a sec... Don't put any cream or sugar in it. Taste it first! Maybe you're a black coffee drinker after all. Komeda is a Nagoya coffee. Dark roasted, perfect balance of bitterness, acidity and aroma. Winey and bold. They just opened, so the service need a bit of improvement but hey, the staff were all too nice and welcoming. I've only seen a few dependapottamus like me from the MCAS Iwakuni base. As you know, most of us dependas like mcdonalds, burgers, bobba, ramen, donuts, tacos, and sushi. But I like my coffee. So if you're looking for a better coffee other than Marifu or Iwakuni Coffee at the station, Komeda easily beats them. It saves you money. Inexpensive coffee. Your officer or e-? spouse will thank you. Delicious and you won't get fat. Drink their black coffee everyday, and you'll definitely loose weight. Win-win!

I used it for morning. It was past 7:00, but there were many people because it had just opened. The store is large and can accommodate a large number of groups, so I was able to enter the store in about a minute. Morning time you can add a set such as toast to your favorite drink for free. Takeout seems to be after July 24th.

The inside of the store is wider and stylish than I thought. All the staff are kind. In the morning, if you order coffee for 500 yen, bread and eggs will be served as a service, so I think it's a good deal. Bread is big, too♪
