Moriya, Ibaraki, Japan｜Komeda's Coffee

My wife told me about this place so we went to try it. It is a bit kitschy, but in a good way. The seventies designed logo is emblazoned on everything. I had the miso katsu pan and it was delicious. Crispy, yet supple with a great mouth feel and rich flavor. We also tried the soft cream which was top notch. We'll be back.

Visited for the first time after 13:30 on a weekday. The store was bustling with customers. Maybe it was because I got along well with the staff at lunch, but I felt really comfortable from the time I entered the store until I left. The towel was piping hot and pleasant, and the cream soda had soft serve ice cream that was very filling. The sandwiches were voluminous and since it was lunch time, I was able to eat them at a reasonable price.
