More Comments at Google MapThis is an old-fashioned coffee shop with 1970s city pop music (only played by Yumi Matsutoya) as background music. It is run by a friendly couple. We each had fillet cutlet curry and meat spaghetti sets on separate days, and both were very delicious. It has the taste of a Showa era coffee shop (I think). Also, smoking is allowed. Well, I don't see many people smoking, probably because of the current times...and they only accept cash payments. The coffee is also pretty good, so I'll stop by again if I'm passing by.
Yumin, which I also love, is playing, and the atmosphere of the store is great. It was my first time going there, but the master was very friendly and talked to me very kindly. The cool speakers in the store were made by themselves...so amazing! This time I ate blended coffee, Vienna coffee, and mini parfait, and they were all delicious. Next time I will definitely order rice! It was such a wonderful shop that I wanted to keep going there and become a regular. I will definitely go again!
It's a bit of a walk from the station, but you can definitely feel the retro Showa era atmosphere from the entrance stairs, lighting, and scent. Some people say it's impossible in modern times, but smoking is allowed inside the restaurant, and candy-colored ashtrays are placed on the tables. This is a true Showa retro coffee shop where you can drink coffee amidst the smell of cigarettes. It's not a retro cafe after all. This is a store you should definitely visit if you love Showa retro. There is a coin parking nearby, so you can come by car.
