Lovely warehouse coffeeshop in the countryside of Mashiko. Love the place and their crepes.

This is an old folk house cafe where time passes slowly. There was also a cute and friendly Shiba Inu in the garden, which was really relaxing. The Kaimi Dog was delicious, and the owner was very kind and spoke to me, so I had a good experience. We highly recommend you to visit when you go to Tochigi.

It is said to have been used to dry tobacco during the Taisho era. The roof was damaged during the Great East Japan Earthquake, and after repairs, it was once again reborn as an old folk house barn cafe. You will feel at ease with the friendly hospitality of the cheerful female owner. As you go up the spiral staircase, you'll find a small but attic space with seats that feel like a bit of a hideaway. From light lunch plates to dessert plates, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee will soothe you. On the way home, the owner asked me to come back when the flowers bloom...🌹It's definitely winter now. There were many rose and flower seedlings in the garden. I would like to visit next spring. It's May 2022, so I came back to the store when the flowers were blooming! The roses were amazing! The garden is also filled with colorful flowers, and on sunny days you can enjoy tea at the outside table. I was also comforted by the owner's smile. There is only room for about 5 to 6 cars, so we recommend carpooling.
