We drove to the “Michi no Eki” in Kasama just to try La Kuri around 10 am on a Friday. We were extremely lucky on that day, as they serve only 70 servings of Mont Blanc during the week, and we made the cut! The wait was long (about an hour) but it was worth the wait. They do have the similar item to go, and I like that version better than the eat-in one. There are three layers to the take out version (custard, chestnut cream with bits and pieces, and chestnut cream- less creamy). I wouldn’t mind getting the to-go version if there isn’t enough of eat-in servings. We also ordered iced latte and doppio, and they tasted pretty good!

I've been to Michi-no-Eki Kasama several times in the past, but this was my first time at Rakuri La Kuri. It's very popular, isn't it? Arrived around 15:00. Luckily there was only one group waiting to pay. There was no line. I wasn't sure what to order, but since it's Kasama, it's Mont Blanc. I received "Rakuguri filo". You can also see the presentation of the food from the side, and the amount of Mont Blanc is amazing! . It wasn't too sweet, and I was able to fully enjoy the deliciousness of chestnuts. Also, there was an explanation saying, ``Adding sea salt enhances the sweetness.'' The set Furunai tea (green tea) is also fragrant and refreshing. It was delicious.

I stopped by on Sunday to try the Mont Blanc made from chestnuts. There was a line of about 10 people, but it seemed to depend on the timing, and there was no line after that. Mont Blanc with a little salt. There is cream inside, but even I, who am not a fan of sweets, enjoyed it. I had plans to eat both lunch and dinner, so I didn't think I would be able to eat anything at all, but it was so light that I shared it with two people and it went faster than I expected. I recommend it, but the price is 880 yen, which is rather expensive.
