My all-time favorite shop in Mashiko. I always pick up something. These few years, I’ve got hooked on U-tan (Ushiro) pottery and crystal glassware by Mr.Sugiyama.

Superb food served beautifully with a great gallery to explore. Starnet epitomises totally the Japanese aesthetic from the cutlery utilised to the presentation of the food in a uniquely pared down simple interior with a keen eye to elegant simplicity. A joy to experience.
