Hitachinaka, Ibaraki, Japan｜SANCHADO

This shop is famous for its Yankee pilaf, which has often been featured on TV. I was hesitant because of the name Yankee Pilaf, but a friend highly recommended it and I visited for the first time. I was in a good mood in the Showa retro restaurant, so I ordered Yankee Pilaf, Ginger Grilled, and Neapolitan. The taste of my first Yankee pilaf was...delicious! It tastes so good that you feel nostalgic even though you are eating it for the first time. Neapolitan and ginger grilled are all delicious! The banana parfait after the meal was also full of Showa vibes and I was very impressed with the perfectly ripe bananas.

It's a nostalgic coffee shop.I visited from Saitama as a touring destination.Smoking is prohibited inside the shop.I had Yankee pilaf and Neapolitan coffee floats. There is a slope in front of the store on the premises, so please be careful if you are riding a motorcycle.There are parking lots on the side and in the back.It is a tight area. It's located at the corner of an intersection a few minutes after getting off Hitachinaka IC, and there's a large signboard that's easy to see, so I think it's easy to find. An elderly couple? It seems like the two of them are managing the food, so if you go with a large group (10 people), it might take a while, but we were able to eat our food in about 15 minutes after ordering. It's open from 10 a.m., so it's a good idea to grab a filling or coffee here before heading toward Kitaibaraki or Ajigaura.

I had Yankee pilaf and it was very delicious. The pilaf and grilled meat set meal was both delicious and filling.
