An old-fashioned Imagawa yaki shop. Imagawa-yaki with lots of red bean paste is very delicious. The dough is chewy and the edges are crispy. The sweetness of the red bean paste goes well with the dough. When you come to Nakaminato, we recommend not only the fish market but also Ikeya-san's Imagawayaki.

I came to Nakaminato on a trip a year ago and discovered it by chance while taking a walk to adjust my waiting time for the train. It was open on Sunday, so I bought it right away and ate it at a nearby park. I was surprised at how delicious it was! I went there to see if it was open on Sunday again this year, and it was! I bought a box and went home. White bean paste, black bean paste, ¥130 each.

A retro sweets shop. I don't know if it's only available in winter, but the small Imagawayaki is delicious❗The skin is chewy, the bean paste is thick, and you can choose between red bean or white bean paste. Personally, I recommend eating it when it's warm, but I thought it would be good as a souvenir as it's easy to eat 😆 Even in winter, Monaka ice cream was sold, and vanilla and chocolate were available.
