More Comments at Google MapIt's right next to the house I moved into. It's a shop, The appearance is very Showa style. I was hesitant for a long time to go. I plucked up the courage to go today, It's just delicious. (^^ゞ The oil isn't old, the food is fried crispy, and coffee comes with the meal after the meal. I wish I had gone earlier I regret it.
Too nostalgic. When I was a student at Nippon Kogakuin Hachioji Vocational School, I lived in a three-story apartment building that used to be called Hachiwa-so, about a three-minute walk from this shop. It was going well towards the end of my life. Ever since then, I've always been a fan of astringent food, and I fell in love with the calm atmosphere of this restaurant, so much so that I even brought my friends there to hang out with me. The pork cutlet set meal here was so delicious that I always ordered a large serving of rice. I think the counter was covered with a vinyl sheet. There was a Yacha place on the other side of the shop, and it was a popular shop that filled up quickly at lunchtime with people working in the market flocking to it. Even though that was over 30 years ago, when I learned that the shop was still going strong, I really wanted to go there.
I guess the "nostalgic taste" is the taste of this restaurant. The portions are just right to keep you full, and the prices are wallet-friendly. After all, the atmosphere inside the store makes me feel at ease, like I'm back at home, and I want to come back again and again.
