Showa style shokudo ran by lovely people. Good food and very reasonably priced. Frequented by Showa locals it gets smokey at times.

It is a restaurant along the shopping street in Honancho. When my wife and I stopped by for car maintenance in the neighborhood, we searched for lunch nearby and visited this restaurant. From the outside, it looks like a restaurant in the city. The seats are almost full at about 13 o'clock on holidays. Surprisingly, almost 90% of customers drink alcohol! It's a restaurant and bar. lol Long live the lunch. My wife ordered a set meal with tonkatsu grated sauce. I pick up various things while drinking as usual. It's hard to choose because the number of menus is amazing anyway. lol We ordered a few items such as salt-grilled and stewed herring, and kinpira, and drank sake. If I lived in a store like this, I would definitely be a regular. I think I will come again. lol

Feeling like a good old set restaurant. If you want to fill your stomach and heart, please check it out. There are about 3 tables and 5 counter seats. A proper set meal that comes with a side dish is not found in chain stores these days. The slow-cooked simmered food was delicious. There are many menus for a restaurant of this scale, and you can choose from fried foods to fish dishes. Don't worry if you go with someone who has different tastes.
