More Comments at Google MapI really love visiting family-run tiny restaurants so I was so happy to stumble across this place. The atmosphere is very unique. I visited on a Tuesday night after 5pm and we (with my husband and child) were the only customers so we were shown a small table in a tiny room filled with interesting signage. There was English 60s pop music playing, which added a nice and mellow vibe. The menus were only in Japanese with lots of kanji and no pictures so if you can’t read Japanese, be prepared to ask for the daily recommendation (osusume onegaishimasu) or whip out your Google translate app. The owners didn’t speak English but were very nice to us as we tried to communicate with our rudimentary Japanese. We ordered a mixed sashimi chiraishi and unagi don, which were both delicious and reasonably priced. If you want a cosy and authentic Japanese dining experience I’d recommend this place. The place is very small so they probably can’t cater for a party of more than 4 and I’d recommend to not bring large bags or backpacks to improve your comfort.
A hidden gem in the area. They have all kinds of lunch sets including sashimi and deep fried food. The interior of the restaurant is also interesting. Not really cheap but tastes pretty good.
Authentic, hearty homemade meals. Each dish is really tasty and well balanced. Affordable price. Definitely recommended!
