My husband and I are regulars at Haru! It’s one of our favorite places to go when we’re on a tight budget but want to fill up on a really delicious meal. The karaage set is amazing and a great portion size. They have a lot different meat dishes (like the chicken sets in the picture) but sometimes I ask for tofu instead of meat and they’re happy to comply. Great local hole in the wall place - please eat at Haru!!

This is a set restaurant that I stopped by on the way back from visiting Takahata Fudoson! The set meals at this restaurant are cheap and delicious! I was particularly surprised by the chicken! Thanks to the thorough preparation, the chicken was soft, juicy and really delicious! This time, I ate the B set meal, chicken miso cutlet, mayonnaise, and ponzu stir-fried chicken with mayonnaise, which is excellent! The richness of the mayonnaise and the sourness of the ponzu are in harmony, and this will make you eat the rice! And the chicken miso cutlet and mayonnaise stir-fried chicken are really soft and delicious! My companion ordered a ginger-grilled chicken set meal, and what a bargain at 500 yen! Cheap and delicious! It's a really perfect shop! Moreover, chicken ginger-grilled chicken was soft, juicy and delicious! And I was really glad that I could come to this shop! This restaurant has a deliciousness that cannot be explained by price alone! It ripens honestly without complaining about the time-consuming preparation! Ask for whom you are spending your time! My mission is to work hard and serve delicious food just for the sake of our customers! All dishes are made with the smiles of our customers! I felt so when I was watching the shopkeeper! It opened a few years ago, but it is a so-called Showa-style set meal restaurant. Even now, 500 yen set meals are on the menu and my head is down. However, I ordered a chicken cutlet curry that I ordered once this time, a large serving of rice, and today's salad, and it costs 1100 yen. The chicken cutlet is tender with thigh meat. I am grateful that chain stores are still trying to use thigh meat instead of breast meat in order to reduce the cost. It's a paypayy 30% reduction campaign, so let's order something higher than usual! I think that this curry is the most expensive (^ _ ^;) I think it's a really conscientious public dining room. It's a pity that the number of seats at the counter is decreasing because they are still taking measures against corona. It's not a place where you can enjoy chatting, and I personally don't think it's necessary to take such measures as long as it's ventilated...
