Very charming restaurant ! Only 10 seats around the counter so you can observe the kitchen (it s a lot of details). The food was great, tasty and fresh. Excellent fish! The service was lovely. A real Japanese experience!

Great food, service, and environment. We were three Americans wandering the area to eat something before hitting up the bars. When we showed up around 7 PM, we saw that there was three seats available but split 1 and 2. The staff was nice and asked the customers if they wouldn’t mind shifting to fit us in right away, which the customers kindly obliged. Our Japanese is nonexistent and their English isn’t quite there either, so we just pointed to the blackboard and ordered a random set meal. The blackboard behind the counter is super cool since they basically change their sets on the fly and write new ones in even at 7:15 PM. We got chutoro that was fresh and creamy, some fried chicken, a miso soup, mixed rice, and picked vegetables. We’ve been here for 9 days now and it’s been our favorite meal, hands down! Would recommend this place to anyone, but it’ll be hard to fit large groups as there is only counter space for like 10 people.

Lovely little restaurant with home cooked feeling Japanese food. Prices are very fair and the staff is incredibly friendly. Most things on the main menu come as a set. So with the main dish you can get rice, miso soup and some fermented vegetables. As previously mentioned, the staff doesn't speak English and there also isn't an English menu. For my English friends, I got the みそなす or Miso Eggplant.
