This restaurant retains a strong resemblance to the "Tieshoe-Shockdou"(populace diner) that was popular in Japan during the Showa period (1926-1989). All dishes, including set meals and a la carte dishes, are carefully prepared and served at low prices. There is no English menu. The elderly owner does not speak English. Still, if you want to experience retro Japan, it is worth a visit based on the reviews on Google Maps. Smoking is allowed, but discreetly.

Visited a little before 14:00. 1 previous customer. I ordered a tonkatsu set meal. It took a while, but it was hot and delicious. It's cheap and has a little volume. The cost performance is perfect! It looks like it would be fun to eat in a small restaurant. The couple were also wonderful.

Visited for lunch before watching a stage performance at the Yorozu Theater. The fried horse mackerel set meal was excellent while feeling the nostalgia of the Showa era in both the storefront and the store. Horse mackerel is small, but thick and fluffy. This is ¥ 680. We had delicious.
