Delicious! Saved the place from an YouTube video and it was worth the hype. I have tried multiple Gyoza in Japan and I always felt that they lack enough meat. From restaurants to convenience stores. Here meat is guaranteed! And even the one without (has spinach instead) is delicious. The lady chef is as positive as she looks in pictures, and I liked that she was trying to converse with me. I got the impression that she understands a bit of English.

It's (almost) a hole-in-the-wall, and in a backstreet, and thus easy to miss. These are not regular Gyozas but the size of large dumplings (somewhat in the region of 葱肉饼), and even come in a classy wooden box. The Gyozas are not terribly cheap, just to be clear, but they are juicy and tasty. The proprietor is really friendly and thoughtful, and served bottled tea while we waited for the freshly made Gyozas. When asked if we could take a photo, gamely posed with his giant fork :D

The atmosphere of the store, the kind boss and owner, the friendly customers, and the delicious gyoza and drinks! There is no reason not to go ☺️
