Although it may be a bit challenging to find, we highly recommend searching for this hidden gem because the food is absolutely amazing! Tucked away in a small alley with a charming local atmosphere, this place offers a unique experience compared to our other food adventures focused on ramen, sushi, and katsu. Here, you'll find hearty, homey, and comforting Japanese cuisine that will warm your soul. From the delicious fish dishes to the flavorful soups and crispy tempura, everything was simply outstanding. Without a doubt, it was one of the highlights of our trip.

Right inside the alley from glitzy Ginza is this very retro looking old cafeteria style looking izakaya. On a regular week day the last order was 8:50pm. You can't really tell how good the food is from it's looks. It is very very good. We go the 銀ムツ set but then changed to the other set that Included another fish. Don't bother with that, just stick with the 銀ムツ, it tasted like a code that was marinated and cooked to perfection with perfect soy sauce flavor and the perfect sweetness. The other one which is the teriyaki buri was really amazing too, it's sweet and the texture is perfect too. Fried oysters were sold out when we were there so we got the seaweed wrapped scallops which was disappointing. The agedashi tofu though was also very good. Highly recommended. The old ladies are super sweet and speaks just enough English but the clientele is predominantly locals.

This was a very popular place, great food and good price !!! It was a perfect little hidden gem. I recommend the soup with chicken, tofu and shungiku
