Happened to find this place straight after getting off at Chokoku-no-Mori Station (across the road after exiting the station) The lovely owners really made us feel at home. Was such a wonderful experience, a nan and pop ramen store that felt very traditional. The menu was in English and the food was very simple but absolutely delicious. Tea on arrival and cold drinks available. The ramen was absolutely delicious and just what was needed on a cold winter's day. Drop in if you're in the area.

First of all. Ignore the self entitled negative reviews. These people probably call their parents by their first name. Anyway…. This is a lovely, cosy, nan and pop operation conveniently located opposite the train station. Perfect for that mid day trip warm feed. With that, yes they’re an older couple, yes they move slowly and converse like any older couple may. But who doesn’t like a juicy mandarin whilst you patiently wait for your home cooked meal? My Gyu Don was delicious and satisfying. My wife’s Ramen was simple and unadultered deliciousness. We ran out of time to do everything we wanted up here today. So we will probably revisit tomorrow for lunch again. Oh… Draft Beer on tap too! Drop by and show them some love.

Very enjoyable. Ordered the beef katsu set. Fantastic miso Everything was fresh and well presented Had english in the menu for ease. Highly recommend if you are visiting the open air museum as it's across from the train station.
