Fujisawa, Kanagawa, Japan｜Imagawa shokudo (shonandai branch)

We have dropped ourselves by this Japanese restaurant to have our lunches. Here happens to provide Sake. Meals are provided with reasonable prices and are really nice. Sake is also nice. One of the best place for daytime meals in Shounandai for me. 2022/08/08 I visited here two days later. I ate rice bowl with blue mackerel this time. Very satisfied again.

[Visited on 2022.04.27] I had lunch at Imagawa Shokudo Shonandai branch in Fujisawa. This is a seafood specialty restaurant run by a long-established fresh fish wholesaler that has been in business for 165 years. The store is nice and clean, and there are counter seats, so it's easy to use even if you're a solo female. I ordered the restaurant's specialty, sesame mackerel bowl. It is filled with plenty of glossy, transparent pale pink mackerel fillets. Since they use raw mackerel, the ingredients are fresh and delicious. You can grind the sesame seeds yourself and sprinkle on the freshly ground sesame seeds, so the flavor of the sesame seeds is very nice.

Used for dinner There are counter seats, so even one person can easily enter. First, I ordered the sake Tamajiman Junmai unfiltered and grated whitebait. It was my first time drinking this brand, and it was slightly sweet and easy to drink. Next, I ordered the famous sesame mackerel bowl. I was very satisfied with both the taste and the volume. Since it is close to the station, I would like to use it again. All the staff members were very friendly and the atmosphere was very good.
