This is a cosy place that you might have trouble finding! Its simple and unassuming exterior contrasts the colourful and loud pachinko parlours and shop around it, and you might even miss it the first time you go there. There is no English menu, so you need to be able to read and understand Japanese or be extremely patient with Google Translate. We went there for the teishoku because of the price, and we'll definitely be going back because of the food! The sashimi teishoku is 1050 yen, a deal you won't find anywhere else for dinner, and the fried prawn set is just a little over 1300 yen. It was all very delicious and fresh!! The teishoku comes with two types of pickles and clam miso soup. The clams were much larger than expected! The staff were friendly and helpful (e.g. patiently repeating themselves to me when I couldn't catch what they said), and the service is relatively quick. This is a place where I'll be bringing visitors in the future!

Very unique store

The building has become really clean. Maybe that's why it's become more popular than before. I wonder if the range of the customer base has expanded. Almost full from opening to closing. Both locals and tourists. For foreigners: The menu is in Japanese only. There are no sample photos either. All fish dishes are delicious. I'm grateful to be able to have lunch there. The tatami room on the second floor that used to be there no longer exists.
