More Comments at Google MapSuperb fried chicken. Big portions of juicy well seasoned boneless chicken. Reasonably priced. Great local sake from highly respected breweries. Seafood dishes here are superb!
I had been interested in the place for a while, but was hesitant because it was far from my home, but today I finally decided to visit. It's still my first time so I'm just getting used to it, but I felt an atmosphere similar to Nekomaru Shokudo in Kikuna. However, while Nekomaru mainly serves fried foods, this one also serves sashimi and grilled fish, so I think they are able to differentiate themselves. I ordered yellowtail bowl (1800 yen). True to its signage, it was very fresh, had enough fat, and settled in my stomach in no time. Many of the other customers were ordering the fried chicken set meal (1000 yen) for lunch, but when I looked at it, I thought to myself, ``That's nice... maybe I should have ordered it that way.'' I might order that next time. Due to the location, it is impossible to come by car, or rather, there is no parking lot, so even if you come by car, you can't park, so it has a ``town restaurant'' atmosphere where the locals are the main customers. I guess you could say it feels like it has a little bit of luxury (luxury) added to it. Since it's near Tressa, there may be some people who secretly park in the Tressa parking lot. The menu is something like a big bulletin board (I doubt that young people today can imagine it), and the housewife carries it around for the customers to judge. Of course, this is only for lunch time, and it may be different in the evening. Apparently they're open until late at 23:00, so it might be a good idea if you're feeling hungry at night. However, business days are irregular (please see the photo), so please be aware of this. 2023/5/1 revisited It seems to be open as usual without any holidays during Golden Week. By the way, this is my first time visiting on a day other than Saturday and Sunday, but is there a lunch menu? It seems that you can order the small menu on the table (the one that says fried chicken set meal) even at night. It's now called a "menu" instead of a "lunch menu," so I guess it's treated as a different item. They also sell whales, so I think I'll order that next time I visit. They welcome people like me without making a bad face, so I plan to visit again to relieve my lack of exercise.
Although it is a small shop, there are many regular customers. I think it's not just because it's delicious, but no matter when you go, there's always a seasonal menu, using fresh ingredients, and the master's reliable cooking techniques and insatiable inquisitive mind! It's great to have a conversation with the mom, and the customer service is discreet and attentive. Actually, I've been going there for many years, but I wanted to keep it a secret because I was worried if it became too popular. Thank you, Master and Mama, for always making delicious food!! ︎ 2022/10/16 night It's been a while since I've added it! I've been there a few times over the past month, but I didn't go in because it was crowded and the master and mama seemed to be having a hard time, but today I headed for it when it opened at 5:30pm! The restaurant's recommended steamed fried oysters and tekka bowl! Boiled flying pumpkin tempura! You are always amazing! ! ! I usually eat what's recommended each time, and I've never missed a meal and it's really delicious! I wrote this again, but I hope it doesn't become too popular... But for the sake of the store, it's better if it's popular 😊 2023/3/4 I went to Maruya for the first time in a while. Tuna cutlet, extra-large amberjack teriyaki, fresh onions steamed in butter, and steamed squid salad. After all, everything is delicious! In particular, the new onion was the simplest, yet most delicious thing I've ever made in my life! ️!! ️
