Visited September 2023 The store is located in a residential area, about a 5-minute walk from Tsuzuki Fureai no Oka Station on the Yokohama Municipal Subway Green Line. I found it on Google Maps and came here🚶 The inside of the store didn't seem that big, but there were table seats, counter seats, and tatami seats. The lunch menu (comes with rice and miso soup/1,500 yen including tax) has five types, with two changing daily, and the staff will tell you about them. They also offer seasonal ingredients, and you can feel their commitment (^^) I ordered the tonkatsu lunch and autumn salmon fries! The batter was crispy and light, and the loin meat had a light oil that made it very delicious and easy to eat 😋 It comes with seasonal vegetable mini bonito, and at this time of year it was sweet potato, which was also delicious! I liked that you could choose between sweet and dry sauces, and they also had rock salt, so you could eat it in a variety of ways.
I made a reservation and went to ``Tonkatsu Restaurant Basuigi'' which I had always wanted to visit. ``Basugi'' is located in a residential area of Kohoku New Town, and if you are not careful, you will pass by without noticing it. I understood because there were barely any cars parked and there were customers waiting in line! ️ When you enter the store and tell the female staff about your reservation, you will be shown to a table. After taking a seat and looking at the menu, my companion ordered the ``Kushikatsu and Chicken Cutlet Lunch'' and I ordered the ``Dunaka Korean Pork Loin Cutlet (200g) Set Meal.'' First, the cabbage, pickles, and sesame dressing for the cabbage were delivered. The sesame dressing has a slightly sour taste rather than the usual taste. After waiting for 15 minutes, the bonito rice and miso soup were brought to me. The rice is made from Koshihikari rice grown in Minami Uonuma, and is glossy and delicious. The miso soup was carefully made with dashi stock and was very delicious. When Morinaka Korai pork is rare, the fat is melt-in-your-mouth soft and sweet. Also, red meat has a strong meaty taste and is soft. There are three types of salt: Pakistani salt, yuzu-scented salt, and another. The store is very clean and the staff pays close attention to detail. Thank you to Jeff and the staff for the comfortable space. Afterwards, my companion had half of the kushikatsu, which was also very delicious with green onions and shito peppers sandwiched between the fillet.
