More Comments at Google MapIt's right in front of Konosu Station, so it's convenient for those who have to wait for a while. There are counter seats, so you can feel free to stop by even if you are alone. It gives the impression of a home-cooked restaurant rather than an izakaya. The overwhelmingly recommended point is that you can order izakaya menus such as sake and snacks even during lunch hours. I had the Kawahaba menchi set meal. There is plenty of meat and you can eat it. The rice comes with miso soup, so you can enjoy the gentle taste of home cooking. By the way, the name "Kawahaba" comes from the fact that the Arakawa River, which flows through Konosu City, is the widest in Japan. As the name suggests, menchi was not cut to represent the width of the river and seemed to represent a wide river.
This izakaya is located in front of Konosu Station. It has a very nice atmosphere and feels easy to use. It seems that they also offer izakaya lunch for lunch!
I go there occasionally and get cold sake and tempura noodles. A restaurant where you can eat and drink in a comfortable manner with good customer service from moms. The menu is extensive, and it's a recommended restaurant that even one person can easily visit.
