A typical Jijibaba Street Chinese restaurant run by an old man and an old woman. If you go at lunchtime, the old man who is the main cook will be there to serve the food, so you may have to wait quite a while, so be sure to give yourself plenty of time. Visited on Tuesday at 12:50. 2 customers first, 2 customers later. The restaurant has 3 counter seats, 2 4-seater tables, and a tatami room with 4-seater tables. It's a pretty compact store, so it's probably impossible for people to sit in all the seats. The parking lot was on a gravel lot a little west of the road in front of the store. It's hard to find, so I think it's better to ask about the location first. Please note that smoking is allowed, so please be careful if you don't like smoking. I ordered Katsudon for 900 yen. I think it took quite a while because it seemed like they started by pounding the meat. The taste is sweet and juicy to my liking. The cutlet is soft and big. It's packed to the full diameter of the bowl, making it difficult to access the rice. The bowl of egg soup that came with the meal was huge, and by the time I finished it all, I was drenched in sweat and was exhausted. With this taste and this cost performance, you can't complain. postscript I came again the next day. This time, at 11:50, there were 2 customers before me and no customers after me. This time it's a basic ramen and curry rice set for 850 yen. The curry seems to be more than half a serving. To be honest, the ramen could be a little saltier, but I have no complaints. Also quite thin noodles. Follow-up notes I came here after 12:00 on a Friday. 2 first customers, 1 second customer. This time it's a yakiniku bowl for 850 yen. The amount of meat is large compared to the rice. For example, it's twice as smart as a beef bowl restaurant. And since the flavor is very strong, a large serving of rice might be a good balance. Well, if you make a large portion, you won't be able to finish it all. Cutlet curry. The cutlet is soft and can be cut with a spoon. delicious. I was able to sit at the counter, so I could watch the cooking process, and I saw that the meat was cut from chunks of meat, carefully pounded, and then fried. That's delicious, isn't it? Large serving of bean sprout soba (600 yen + 100 yen). When I ordered a large portion to try it out, it was extremely large. This probably contains two balls of noodles. It was a stable belly pan. The bean sprouts are not a sweet bean paste, but a salty one. Miso ramen (thick noodles). What do you think of the thick noodles written on the menu? I thought so and ordered it. Well, it's not thick at all. At other stores, it's just regular noodles. Well, thanks to you, the delivery was quick. The taste was a little bland and not to my liking. Shrimp fried rice. It's not too dry, it's moist. The taste also feels a little bland. The volume is sufficient. It's quite filling so you'll be full. A large serving might be a bit impossible. Menchi set meal. Like the cutlet, this one is also carefully fried. However, I don't think there is anything worth mentioning. Gomoku fried rice. Even though it's called Gomoku, it's mostly pork and shrimp lol The chashu is dry, so if you eat it with rice it will stick to your throat and be painful. Special cutlet bowl. good. If you want a regular katsudon + 100 yen, go for this. Dandan noodles set meal. This is cool. The regular ramen tasted a little too bland for my liking, but the tandan noodles were delicious. Thin noodles are also common. However, the portions are still large, so I'm glad it wasn't a set meal lol I tried all of them, but in conclusion, I'm going for the katsudon, katsu curry, and dandan noodles.

Good old Japanese Chinese food! Lots of fried rice ingredients, lots of tanmen vegetables, and minced meat cutlet were delicious!

A downtown Chinese restaurant crowded with regulars! Anyway, it's delicious and cheap! The shrimp fried rice is light in oil and the shrimp are big and plump! I'll visit you again.
