I had to take a nap at a ryokan in Isawa Onsen for work, so I was looking for lunch, and the reviews from locals who had been there looked good, so I went to this ramen restaurant on a whim. The shop is run by the young owner and his mother (who seems to have a hard time walking with her hips bent...😂), which is very popular and good 👍 It was just 12:00 on a Saturday, so I thought it would be crowded, but the timing was perfect and I was able to be seated without waiting. Even after the measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus have been lifted, the number of people entering the store seems to have been thinned out, so if it's crowded, you might have to wait a bit. It's a small store with 2 counter seats, 3 tables for 4 people, and 2 tatami rooms for 4 people. (There were also chairs with ❌ marks pasted on them, so that's a guide to thinning out) It's my first time, and I don't know when I'll be able to come back for this job again, so I want to be satisfied when I eat, and there are so many menus that I get confused. I ordered Gomoku Soba🍜, which everyone's reviews say is delicious, and Chinese classics, fried rice🍛 and gyoza🥟😅 I thought that I probably wouldn't be able to eat all of it by myself, but I ordered it with the feeling that sometimes... I'd like to do my best to eat every bit.🥰 I have an elderly mother myself, so I understand this very well, but I wanted her to live a longer life and continue to grow the store with the owner for many years to come. The ramen soup was light and delicious, but I got full first and couldn't finish it all, which was a shame.
