Wakayama, Japan｜味一

Very convenient- 5 mins walk from wakayamashi station... Not the best quality tonkatsu we have eaten but definitely worth visiting if you are in the region. Good tasting tonkatsu at great value. We ordered the pork loin cutlet and yakisoba. Service is efficient but not exactly friendly... We ordered the wrong item coz we couldn't understand their Japanese menu - and wanted to change it - we received dagger stares from the waitress and had to explain 5 times before she reluctantly conveyed the change to the kitchen. Still decided to rate it a 5 coz for the price we paid for the delicious tonkatsu, I guess we can't complain...

The exterior was not easy to understand as a restaurant, but an amiable aunt attended. It was cheap and the most delicious tonkatsu!
