Handa, Aichi, Japan｜Shikishima

I ate a tonkatsu set meal. Sweet sauce goes well with pork cutlet. It was delicious. The inside of the store is an old-fashioned set restaurant, and you can relax and enjoy your meal.

I especially like Shikishima's katsudon, and whenever I feel like eating it or have something to do at the government office, I always come over and eat the katsudon. It's an old-fashioned katsudon that is both nostalgic and heartwarming.

I wonder if it's because of the stable taste. They've probably been able to continue with this flavor for decades. They're supported by regular customers who are city hall employees. It's expensive for lunch, but it gets crowded at noon. There's no parking lot, but you can park on the street in front. I feel like I'm missing out on the tour (I haven't checked) If you're worried, try the nearby set restaurant Kikuyoshi. Kikuyoshi's ramen and tonkatsu are both better than Shikishima, but I want to try this ridiculously cheap cutlet ramen once every few years. Is it the weight of history? I remember when cigarette smoke was heavy. I was the one who got into a fight.
