On this day, we were served one fried fish (tuna cutlet). I guess that's because you're big...lol By the way, the cold tofu set meal is the most filling at this restaurant. He's a softie. The sashimi is salmon and tuna. The fried fish included two tuna cutlets. Miso soup is red soup with taro. The small bowl is stewed eggplant, hijiki and vegetables dressed with mayo. ●I ordered a set of tonkatsu and udon. (750 yen including tax, as of October 2021) It took a while for the food to be served because the previous customer had ordered several things, but it was made with great care. The cutlet in Katsudon retains the crispiness of the batter, while the warishita is well soaked into the meat. The eggs were a little crunchy, but they had a lot of flavor to my liking. And the highlight is udon! Even though it's warm, it's chewy and goes down your throat wonderfully! The noodles are a bit twisted, so I thought they might be hand-made, but when I asked about it, I was told that they actually make them by hand. It seems like he has been in business for over 50 years (!), but he is now over 80 years old and hasn't made his own noodles for the past 10 years. However, due to their experience, they carefully check the doneness of the boil before serving it. It's much more delicious than the handmade udon shop! It's a hunch based on years of experience! I thought. ●Ordered omelet rice and fried shrimp set meal (1000 yen including tax, as of November 2021) I don't like shrimp, so I wonder if I can substitute it with some other fried food? When I discussed this, both the owner and the landlady readily agreed. ``Would you like it fried with ginger? Fried oysters are also fine, I'll take as much as I can'', so I went with fried oysters. Fried oysters arrived first. They even put in 5 pieces. The warm and melty oysters in the crunchy batter are delicious! It has a seasoning, so no sauce is needed. While I was eating and thinking it was delicious, the omelet rice appeared. It's a plain, old-fashioned omelet rice, but it's enough to make you think, "Huh?" The eggs are fluffy. The heat is perfect! I thought, ``Huh?'' with less ketchup, but the chicken rice is soggy, so it's a good balance! ●Order sukiyaki set meal (800 yen including tax, as of December 2021) What a luxury at this price... If you only eat sukiyaki, the taste will get stuck. I'm very happy that it comes with a small bowl. It is a gentle warishita that you would find at home. delicious! . Since then, I have been going twice a month. ★Price increase of 50 to 100 yen in October 2022 This is an understandable price increase as it has been doing well up until now. . ●Order Yudofu set meal (As of December 2022) It's getting cold in Nagoya too. Hot pot season. The yudofu set meal is a version of the cold tofu set meal with the tofu removed from the hiyayakko to boiled tofu and miso soup, but still the same volume! I was very satisfied as always. All have a delicious and stable taste. A reassuring taste of the good old days. This is a store that makes you want to say "I'm home". One parking lot can be parked in the triangular area on the north side, and two cars can be parked in the parking lot further north. Even if you miss lunch time, we are open throughout, which is helpful.

It was the afternoon when things had calmed down, so the old man and his mother told us about the history of the store. The shop has been in business for over 60 years, and for the first 10 years, it was located near the Meitetsu Driving School in Narumi. At that time, there was a construction boom for housing and Midori City Hospital, and the building was very busy with deliveries from construction workers. So, since it is currently next to the Midori Police Station, I asked if the interrogation room, which everyone is curious about, offers delivery of katsudon.I don't know if it is the interrogation room, but apparently they used to order delivery until about three years ago. But now, the old man seemed sad, saying that it had completely disappeared. I wonder if katsudon is no longer necessary for confessions? Mr. Gotiso♪
