I was nearby for work, so I stopped by Shokudo Usami for Sunday lunch. By the way, it seems like they are closed on Sundays about every other week, so I was lucky that they were open today. The store is about a 5-minute walk north of Hongo subway station, and the interior mainly has table seats, as well as counter seats. Although it is not new, it is very well maintained. It was already almost 1:30pm, so there were no customers. Thanks to this, there were only two parking spaces, but we were able to park safely. There are various set meals for lunch, and today I had the minced meat cutlet set meal. A large minced meat cutlet topped with demi-glace sauce, cabbage, rice, red soup stock, a small side dish (today's dried radish), and mini mapo tofu for 980 yen. I put the mapo tofu on rice and made it into a mapo tofu bowl. According to the notice in the store, the price seems to have increased on October 1st, but the rice is quite large (free of charge for large portions. I think I ordered a large portion...though my memory is vague), and considering the elegant taste and quantity, It's well worth it. By the way, after I ordered, I looked at the information on the wall and saw that there was a service lunch (1000 yen) called ``hamburger and fried chicken'', and for a moment I thought I should have gone for that. I would like to come back to eat there again.

A restaurant where you can eat delicious food. Miso soup was delicious. I think it's best to order from the top of the menu. Demiglace sauce hamburger, it was a taste that you can see that the sauce and the burger took a lot of time.

I went in for the first time for lunch. It costs 880 yen (tax included) and comes with miso soup and a small side dish. Large portions of rice are also served. I had the ginger grilled set meal, and there was just enough ginger, and it was delicious along with the colorful vegetables. The dining room has a warm atmosphere with a friendly atmosphere from the husband and wife.
