Toyohashi, Aichi, Japan｜Ginshari Shokudo

I often come here for dinner with my nephews. It's a popular store, so if you go right after it opens, you won't have to wait. The tonkatsu set meal is one of my top five favorites. I think that lunch is also a good deal.

I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon. The parking lot was empty, so I thought there weren't many customers, but the seats were almost full. "Even after ordering, the customers kept coming in and out." "I asked for a good lunch, but it was sold out immediately after that." When I ate it, the main side dishes were fried tofu and boiled mackerel. All of them were mildly seasoned, and the rice went well. The miso soup was made with white miso, which is rare for this region, and it wasn't overly seasoned and was easy to drink. The savory egg custard was also very delicious with the exquisite taste of the dashi stock. By the way, the restaurant was run by two women, but the food was never slow.
