Toyokawa, Aichi, Japan｜Hoseiken

2023.10.22 I stopped by for lunch after visiting Toyokawa Inari. I ordered the Tonkatsu Zen and Miso Katsu Zen to share with Kamisan. You can enjoy both pure tonkatsu and misokatsu, I devoured both of them with ease. The rooibos tea served was unusual.

I had the miso katsu set. It was very delicious. I got the feeling that they care about everything. The miso cutlet is thick and has a good texture, and the taste is a little sweet. There is mustard on top, so it is not heavy. Personally, I'm not very good at mustard, but it was very delicious. The shredded cabbage was dressed with sesame dressing, and the accompanying pickles, white rice, and rich red soup made it a well-balanced meal. I want to eat it again. It doesn't have much to do with meals, but I'm particular about the tea, wet towel, and small toothpicks that are served first. The inside of the shop is also beautiful and calm with a modern Japanese image. I like.

Misokatsu set meal The cutlet is crispy and juicy, and the miso is also very delicious. It looks beautiful too. I went twice in quick succession. I will go again.
