The miso soup is rich in red soup stock with plenty of taro, eggplant, enoki mushrooms, seaweed, daikon radish, and onion. The lightly pickled cucumbers are salty, which gives them a unique flavor. The types of ingredients in the tempura bowl are simple, but the simplicity is superior, and the flavor is deep, just like the old man. The old man refills the tea with trembling hands.
