Kihoku, Mie, Japan｜Muku

SO KIND - We cycled through and stopped here for lunch while waiting for our train to Kumano. The shop is lovely, food delicious, and the couple who run the place were so kind to us! They even filled our water bottles with cold barley tea before we set off again. Highly recommend this friendly place.

The food was great and the owners were so nice, they went out of there way even with my limited Japanese. The draft beer was good, the squid okonomyaki very good. I wish I'll come back one day, not only for the food but for the kindness of the owners who transformed something good into something excellent.

When I went there for the first time with my local relatives, I looked down on it. I was surprised that when it tasted delicious, I could say “delicious” from the bottom of my heart (lol) I lost 20 kg due to dietary restrictions to maintain my health, but at this restaurant I end up eating carbohydrates as side dishes (lol). It's dangerous, it's dangerous. If you go to Kihoku town for fishing or sightseeing, please stop by. Eat until dessert. If you go to kihoku town in Mie prefecture, you should eat at this restaurant.
