Ise, Mie, Japan｜駒鳥食堂

We stumbled into this one more by accident. It is just a fast imbis serving Ramen, Udon, Curry-Rice and some similar simple Japanese dishes. It was exactly what I was looking for and it was really tasty. There is no English menu, but I think it is possible get something ordered without Japanese ... e.g. you can order just "Ramen" and would get the default version Note: there was an ashtray on each table, but no one was smoking when we eat there.

I had the Ise Matsuzaka Beef Curry Udon. Curry is delicious to begin with, but at the bottom of the bowl there is a dark soy sauce sauce from Ise udon, and when combined with the curry, the taste changes dramatically (but in a good way, it's not a drastic change). ) can be enjoyed. The udon was different from the one I had at another shop, and although it was soft, it had a nice chewy texture. There is a wide variety of menu items other than Ise udon, so if you have a chance to visit Ise Jingu, I would like to use this restaurant. There are 3 free parking lots, but it may be a little difficult to find as you drive through the narrow roads. Please take a look at the image showing the actual location on the store map. By the way, the map tells you to head north from the store and turn down the road just before the railroad crossing, but there is also a road that goes along the railroad tracks that is not on the map. If you go this route, you have gone too far.

For the first time in 10 years, my family and I visited the restaurant that I used to visit with my grandfather every year when visiting his grave. My children and wife enjoyed their first try of Ise udon. I ordered the nostalgic omelet rice and was deeply reminded of the time I had eaten it with my grandfather. Thank you for your precious time.
